AHHHHHHH loving this so far! Natalie is such a fascinating character and the author does a great job presenting an unreliable narrator. Shows that Burke did her research and thought deeply about the trad wives: the connection between the pressure to keep up appearances because of being observed by God/youtube audience?!!!!!! Her mind ugh...

This book will never end, also Blake's writing works well if you imagine it as a play, no distinct locations and loose plot but insane emotions!!

The plot is so hazy and cliché in a wattpad 2014 way, but I'm eating this up soooooo hard

Once you read a book from Olivie Blake and realise you shouldn't focus on the plot but on the VIBES, your world gets better

I was complaining about how there wasn't a horror scene that really shocked me in this book and then I read the bathtub scene and it was soooo good I won't stop feeling queasy for a week

This is gruesome and not very period accurate but I am loving it so far! The paranormal is slowly getting revealed to us, and we've had plenty of time to get to know our protagonist so I'm loving the pacing! It also takes place in November so a perfect little spooky story before I go full in on Christmas

The humour is not humouring in this one for me... I don't even like the characters nor the plot... don't think ill be finishing this one

So soooo important to read this book, not only does it go into the reasons why abusers do what they do but it also has tools to help you spot abuse early on!! Everyone should read this, if only just the relevant bits to them
