45% in 2 weeks is pretty good, right?? I feel like I am making progress, which is always welcome. And it IS interesting.

Will Ladislaw is my favorite character this far. Dorothea and Mary Garth are high contenders as well though (Dorothea mainly because of how fleshed out she is and Mary because she’s a Queen).

Read chapters 4-6 today.

I guess this is a ghost story. What have I gotten myself into.

It’s just this has the tone of a horror story but the horror is a loom. The loom: a man made abomination beyond your comprehension.

Why is this man a creepy witch goblin in the woods. Why is he Mother Gothel. He literally just weaves cloth why is this terrifying devil worship. This is hilarious to me and I don’t know if it should be lol

Bruh I started this and began reading out loud on a whim and what do you mean “certain pallid undersized men, who, by the side of the brawny country-folk, looked like the remnants of a disinherited race” why are we dunking on this man???? He’s in league with the Evil One because he’s short????? Idk if this is even supposed to be funny but I’m laughing because it’s so outta pocket lol
