I have to say I’m extremely impressed with the book beginning with an optional synopsis of the first book??? So many books like this have the “review” woven into the first couple of chapters, which is incredibly frustrating when you’re binging the series.

I love reading the bad reviews of this book because they’re all perfectly right. And yet this book endures as such a cult classic (in the right circles). It’s just such a specific flavor of cringe you can’t hate it.
