Hark is an obnoxious asshole. I have yet to see any evidence that he is worthy of Maya's devotion. This is getting irksome.

The plot for this is so bizarre... Tem is kind of unlikeable, to be honest. She comes off as a bit of a petulant and bossy sort, after selling herself as a timid and introverted person. Where was all the confidence she showed facing Leo when Vera was badmouthing her? Hmmm??? Also, what's the deal with Caspen? I'm gonna put my money on her being half basilisk or something. We'll see if I'm right.
