I watched TV for a while, listened to my iPod, and read part of a paranormal thriller novel by T.W. Luedke

“I don’t snore.”
He nodded with a wide grin. “It’s a quiet peaceful kind of snoring. Like a small cuddly Tasmanian devil. Kind of cute when sleeping, all claws and teeth when awake.”
“You snore worse. At least I don’t turn into a lion in my sleep.”

“Move, you silly bird.”
The duck remained unimpressed. I should get out more. This mated life made me too soft. I couldn’t
even scare a duck off the road.
I got out of the Jeep and walked over to the duck. “Scoot!”
The bird gave me an evil stare.

“I’m sorry, milady,” I said. “Athos, Porthos, and Aramis just left.”
“They said something about riding to England with d’Artagnan to retrieve some diamonds,” Andrea
added.

The more I read about that magical book, the more I'd like to have one...seems better than instant messaging :D

The vampire released her with a roar. She spun, leading with her elbow, and knocked him flat. This was like some kind of dream.

Another kiss followed his statement. "I have no problem with getting you a cane, or even a seeing-eye bunny, as long as you know I will never stop looking for a cure."
"Bunny?"
"It'll give you something to chase when you get bored."
Dare laughed. "It might make a poor guide though."
"Maybe."

“Funny,” I said, then realized he was not joking. Ugh. I hated the thought of fighting him for rats. “All right, then. Give me your pants.”

My smile faded a little when he began to unbutton his pants. I found myself staring at his fingers as he slid his fly down, my throat suddenly dryer than dry. “Um, what are you doing?”
“A convenience store can’t be far from here.[...]”
“There’s a few rats in the building,” I joked.
“You might have to leave those for me.”

“Quit killing us off for your twisted amusement, or we will FedEx you pieces of your beloved Robert Pattinson.”

I know you are, and I admit, it is a tempting thought, but he’s really nothing more than greedy and irritating and thus not really deserving of testicle-hanging.
