I am rereading after reading it for the first time in 2004, its truly amazing to look back and see what transpired in our socioeconomic society. Fortunately, I was able to plan for the impending changes in our society as a result of reading Strauss' incredible predictions.

Such a beautiful story about the life of a very special young lady who dealt with abandonment and the harsh realities of her surroundings. She saw the beauty and ebb and flow of her natural surroundings while trying to understand and cope with love lost on so many levels. Ms. Owens wrote beautifully, descriptive pages where I felt I was a secret observer into the life of this very private woman.
