Such a beautiful story about the life of a very special young lady who dealt with abandonment and the harsh realities of her surroundings. She saw the beauty and ebb and flow of her natural surroundings while trying to understand and cope with love lost on so many levels. Ms. Owens wrote beautifully, descriptive pages where I felt I was a secret observer into the life of this very private woman.
