I’m interested in how her magazine Mother Earth comes along over the years.

Emma is far more forgiving of people than I am.

Someone I hated in this book died unexpectedly died & hooray! I’m glad!

I really like the chapter on Death & Grief, and The Shadow, these are subjects I’m already interested in writing about.

Another theme of this book is incompetent, cruel, or corrupt police.

Lot of assassinations of attempted ones happen in this book.

Lots of little pearls of poetry wisdom in these pages.

Slightly annoyed this author makes equivalencies of the Norse Gods to the Greek ones.

Almost halfway through this tome of a book!

Oh no, not yet another man! Emma your taste in men is terrible!

I’m so glad there is now an ocean between Emma and her ex!

Everyone is practicing free love in this book, and they’re all so gloriously messy.

She finally left the bastard! Hooraaay! XD I’m so happy!

There was a lot of sexism in leftist circles a hundred years ago. -_-

I had no idea Emma once wanted to be a doctor?!

Emma deserves a better partner.

The men in Emma’s life do not deserve her, except maybe Sasha.

Ed ain’t shit!

I really like how much emphasis is on writing for a reader, and the difference between writing a poem focused on yourself vs the world outside of yourself.

This is a helpful guide so far, I particularly like the writing exercises at the end of each chapter.

Reading this for my creative writing class.
