Books under 300 pages are underrated, I'm loving that this story is flying and the audiobook is great

This book will not be for everyone, but I will die on the hill saying that this is easily one of the best books I've ever read. 6 stars and only 60% in. I do wish there was more ✨️romance✨️ but the little bit that's in there is making my heart happy

Getting attached to characters you know the fate of is painful enough already, but there's a huge delusional part of me that prays that there's hope, despite knowing there's none

You know a book is damn good when you're so tired you're crashing out and eyes are bleeding from exhaustion and you still *need* to read more because you're so hooked ❤️

This is the darkest book I've ever read. 12/10


On a serious note: This story may be dark, but it's so incredibly well written and the audiobook has the *best* narrator

This book is like a combination of Fourth Wing & Peter Pan

Okay I got lured back in after he saved her from a monster, this book is less annoying now lol

Disappointed but I keep listening anyways, this book is checking off every single pet peeve:
-enemies to lovers but there's 0 reason they're enemies
-"Stubborn, sassy, & stabby" FMC
-"I'm not like other girls" & can't shut up about being so different
-tons of training scenes
-similar writing style to Fourth Wing

Trying to like this book, but the FMC is insufferable but I'm going to finish this even if it kills me

This book is perfect for fans of Fourth Wing with how the FMC acts like Violet.. not loving how she judges other women and acts like she's never known how to act around people... but the audiobook is fine enough while I deep clean the house

I'm already giggling with excitement & also am ready to cry when I reach the last page

I'm never going to be ready to say goodbye to this incredible world

Turns out my bookmark refuses to stay inside the book so here I am

I am absolutely taking my sweet time with this book because it's so incredible and I don't want it to ever end

So excited there's a Part II to this because this book is a feast and I'm savoring every single bite

After the world's worst book slump, I'm giddy while I read again💕
