I’m a handful of a chapters in and love how well the story flows. The prologue throws you into a battle scene. Chapter one leads into a tavern brawl. The action is an entertaining way to start teaching you lore and building the world. The FMC is a flirtatious drunk hiding behinds mountains of grief.

Slightly caught off guard that other royals are willing to risk blood and life through trials for the prince’s hand in marriage.
