I don't understand the ratings. This book is SO boring 😭😴

She seems to be obsessed with HPV for some reason, and has already mentioned it more than once in this book, along with it being mentioned in Girls

I just can't... The pretentious language is so hard to read and takes me out of the immersion so I think I'm giving up on this one...

I love that Lorna Landvik reads so many of her own books. She's an excellent narrator, and I'm impressed with the addition of the music to the book even though it sounds so bad on the Hoopla app for some reason. Music on these books must have actually been decent in the CD audiobooks or something, but its terrible in these digital copies...

Doing a re-read because I absolutely loved it when I read it about 20ish years ago, but I don't really remember it, so I want a refresher now that I'm back into reading and am older.

I know it's the point, but this guy is INSUFFERABLE! I have wanted to stop reading so many times because I hate the main character so much! Lol part of that might have to do with how the narrator is reading him... Either way, I think he's nailing it, and that's probably the whole point. I'm excited to see the film (because A24 only really does absolute bangers!)
