All of my partners have been my best friend, so this is just getting a bit tired and absurd.

The constant sexual tension with let's-just-be-friends over and over is getting a little tedious 😖

These characters are just absolutely absurd and ridiculous.

None of these characters are believable as real people.... And this book feels very unoriginal for me.

I'm finding it really hard to believe these children are such brats.... A lot of these children raised by rich people in NYC are usually portrayed as being really well-behaved, so this is strange. I can't imagine the parents wouldn't teach them how to behave in public since most rich people know how to behave in public from a young age...

as previously stated by others, Amber is insufferable! Gah!

Her working about someone "busting" her for magic at this point of the book is annoying and just doesn't make sense.

Slow burn chemistry gets so annoying and frustrating when it drags out way longer than it actually would have IRL

The pronouns of all the plants feels so awkward and forced.... Listen, I'm very liberal, and I think this is a crazy amount of what the conservatives wrongly call "woke"

them constantly saying "gods," instead of "god," is so annoying (I'm not religious, but is this really necessary to say "Gods," over and over and over and over?) the narrator makes it seem so repetitive the way she reads it (it is really repetitive)

I'M ONLY AT 18%?! I feel like I've been listening forever 😭The dialog in this book makes me cringe and roll my eyes so much... I can't believe how popular these books are...

Between the physically reading myself.om the kindle and listening to the audiobook, I feel like I'm reading 2 different books. The audiobook is really hard for me to focus on for some reason, and I listen to a lot of books.

who doesn't know how to mark an email as unread? I'm pretty sure that tech has been available since long before this book was written...

why is every character in this book so insufferable..........

This book is already pissing me off. Why are we going out of our way to cater to a narcissistic mother? Is she suddenly going to have a personality transplant??

It's so difficult to listen to people being mistreated by men in power. I know it happens every day, and it feels like there's nothing we can do about it, but it really upsets me.... I want to read this, but it's making me so angry

I don't understand how the sleep knows which grief/trauma to target. Wouldn't you just come out with nothing to mourn?

This part about the depression of quitting opioids is so real and true. God, it's depressing me just to hear it after many times experiencing it in my youth.

this kid's absurd obsession with this painting instead of just leaving it somewhere to be discovered is getting tiresome
