Listening to the Audio and reading on my kindle. For any horror fans of Stephen King or Richard Bradbury, whistle will be one of those novels that stays with you long after you've reached the ending.

I think I'm 35% through at this stage and I am spellbound.

This is well on the way to the becoming a 5 star read 💙

Already past the halfway point and loving the fast paced action and gentleman mind games from the young Bond for the month of 007 Bond.

I really want Brock to slap Millie hard and not in a kinky way 🙏 She is such a flake in book 2, the character has regressed something fierce. Cmon Brock take charge, take action "Do something damn it" 😂

That moment in the book where there is too much un-realistic action taking place in a monster mash up of disaster. The race to end of this blood bath mash up is well and truly on. Determined to finish and pretend this story never happened.

So many King and 80s slasher references, my sadistic inner child is loving this 🤭

Listening and reading, multi tasking at its greatest 😝

I'm getting strong The Stand vibes with a hint of The Returned. Thuroughly enjoying myself, thanks KY for the recommendation.

80 % through now and this book has taken what I thought I knew and flipped it on its head. Holy crap this is so good. If I was to compare the feels I'm getting I would say similar to the film Fear with Mark Wahlberg 😉 that's the only hint you get.

First time I've cried reading a novel. Being a Father changes the way you see the world and your role as your childs protector.

Chapter 5 Case #3432, we've all lost pets it's a passage of life, but what Cory experiences when his dog Rebel is hit by a truck one morning and clings onto life despite the injuries his sustain is heart breaking. I have not read a novel so well well versed in human emotion before.

Still got plenty more to read but Boy's Life exists on its own playingfield, a rare sight to behold.

Very interesting so far.

700 pages in and this feels like a filler for the main story.

So far without spoiling the story, the most exciting thing to happen is Roger's miraculous feat in the midst of battle and the who dunnit mystery at Jocasta's wedding.

What this story needs is some Lord John Grey and his son William to give this story some spice for Jamie.
