Chapter 5 Case #3432, we've all lost pets it's a passage of life, but what Cory experiences when his dog Rebel is hit by a truck one morning and clings onto life despite the injuries his sustain is heart breaking. I have not read a novel so well well versed in human emotion before.
Still got plenty more to read but Boy's Life exists on its own playingfield, a rare sight to behold.
