Color me intrigued.

Mentioning that a character is "somewhat responsible for repopulating the Atlanta Zoo with the giant panda" in a year (2024) when Zoo Atlanta actually just lost all of their giant pandas (sent back to China with no confirmed date of new pandas due to panda diplomacy) is just cruel and unusual punishment. 😭 The author would do well to research before printing on a sensitive topic.

So far, this story has not held my interest. Hoping it gets better.

When does the plot start?

Romantasy book club read - Nearly halfway through the book, and I already have the sinking suspicion that my favorite character will suffer a horrible tragedy/death. 😭

Please give me the strength to finish the Buddy Read ASAP so that I can be free.

A bit upset at myself for not realizing this isn’t actually the last book - it’s just the most recently published one… FROM 2021! The next one doesn’t even come out until 2025/2026! *Face palm* Anyway, I’m already in too deep, so I must keep going at this point. Let’s gooo.
