Seems there a lot of WW tears over the truth in this book and they as always are anxious to make themselves into a victim so they can play oppression Olympics. 🫠🫠

With that being said I am definitely going to read this now. Usually books that upset the fragile WW are pretty on point.

I hate missing out on audible only books. For the hard of hearing like me or those that can’t process audio from being neuro spicy it really bites

Seeing so many people dying to get their hands on this... the great reviews.. a lesbian MC obsessed with true crime podcasts... I had to dive in and get the ARC. Fingers crossed it’s amazing

I really wish they would also offer these in print for those that are hard of hearing. It really sucks to not be able to enjoy certain titles.

I’m not sure by the synopsis if this is up my alley but I loved her YA books so I’m going to give it a shot

I’m sad I couldn’t get into this AT ALL and I have loved all his previous books. Boooo

Totally not gonna finish this anytime soon. Holy slow. And I don’t like the way it’s told.

Ugh. I was super excited about this but it’s sooo slow and so far it’s basically her rehashing how the media business is to BIWOC over and over in every interaction which was established clearly in the first book. I’m going to put it down for awhile and try again later because I really enjoyed the first book.

I got the 2nd book as an ARC. SO EXCITED. So doing a reread of the first before I start it!!!

I looked forward to this the minute I heard it was coming out. I LOVED the CWE. I put off reading this because things and finally came back to pick it up. Anddddddd then I read the reviews and with that I’m not even gonna bother reading this sadly. I don’t get down with the homophobic anti abortion slut shaming religious bullshit so I’m not even gonna waste my time. Damn it.

I’m gonna give this one more try. I’ve tried twice. Last time I got to 6 percent where he sees Lauren at the event. Yes that’s early in the book but usually thrillers, if I’m into them, like I should be according to reviews- I’m already zooming thru. It’s def got to be me. And not the book. But I’ve seen too many good reviews so I’m back to try it again. Third times the charm? Curse?

I WANT THIS ARC SO BADLY. I CHECK EVERYDAY IF I HAVE BEEN APPROVED. What a wonderful gift for Christmas if I get it. Wahhhh

Currently reading this advanced reader copy that comes out August 4th. So good so far. Several of you will like this. Especially true crime podcast lovers. Review to come!
