Shana Dennis is on page 169 of 374 of Ripped from the Headlines!: The Shocking True Stories Behind the Movies’ Most Memorable Crimes
The way Schechter described actress Shirley Stoler’s love scenes with actor Tony Lo Bianco does not reflect well on his character.

Fantastic. Too much ink has been wasted on the monster who killed these women. They weren’t cardboard cutouts, they were real people with pasts that shaped who they were before their futures were stolen.

I had to put this aside when the author unironically used the phrase “race baiting” in the chapter about Trayvon Martin.

I wonder how many of the people ranting about the flag have ever really seriously listened to me when I've talked about how people are harassed going into abortion clinics. For them it's easier to sympathize with an object representing abstract ideas than with Dr. Parker, the people who work with him, and their patients.

I already knew that some southerners have a way of dressing up the past, but I had no idea it was call the "Lost Cause movement" until now and was used to unite rich and poor whites in justifying their efforts of keeping race relations business as usual.
