I needed an extreme palate cleanse from that last book so I went from gory horror to a cute sapphic romcom because that’s as far to the other side of the genre spectrum I could think of

Man I just finished my Locked Tomb reread the other day and I think it’s making me more angry when I read bad books because I know what quality is out there and what slop is being fed to us.

This has been recommended a lot in horror spaces and it has an interesting premise so I’m going to trust the process but I’m ngl so far it’s just gratuitous violence and I’m not sold. Will report back.

Genuinely obsessed with Chaghan and Rin projecting hardcore every time they roast each other. The call is always coming from inside the house. You hate that you match each other's freak so hard.

I think Kitay should be allowed to juice a few freaks without consequence. As a treat.

You know. I’ve been reading this book thinking, “What could this woman have done to deserve this” and now that I know I’m like. You know what. Yeah. Nina’s crash out is kind of valid, actually. NOT SAYING WHAT SHE DID WAS OKAY. But, like, I get it.
This book is full of terrible people doing terrible things to each other, man.
