it’s kicking offfff. Jocelyn (the lawyer) has just blown up a bunker filled with (basically) ex-military mercenaries

let jocelyn catch a fucking break man

it’s kicking offffff and this has just turned into the most entangled and elaborate game of hide & seek.

gideon and joss have just met (ooh la la) and the killer knows joss hasn’t died

they tried to get my good sis jocelyn, shall i get madddd

oi belden you bastard, why aren’t you dead

oh… man down

So many moving parts. Martini is getting away with murder! Interesting events are happening in quick succession — Chenko and Chaney escape prison, Jocelyn and Belden fly in for the court hearing (and you know he’s going to be killed before it happens), new side character has been introduced (Buck) and he’s part of this big ass scheme… He’s not moving me, but he’s improving

I see where this is going… I’m loosely interested. Still, writing sucks asssssss

first, actually gripping, pov. scott and kirsten, i was glued to ur two minutes of screen time together.

originally was struggling really hard to gel with the writing. finding my bearings a little better now. many characters and moving parts. there was a time when this may would’ve rocked my world. it is not now.

three chapters in, it’s going slow. i can never get over how sexy looking this book is

ok old print media, what do you have for me?

so this is starting off quite dull…

tom 🫩

samuel’s going on his retirement tour and speaking like he’s about to croak. #dontApprove

Aaron and Caleb just got their names. Favourite part of the story so far

ok so that was tense.

bloody hell!

listened to the behind the bastards 4 part breakdown on MBS just before reading the first 2 chapters. and im thinking if the first fifty ish pages is basically a sum up of that whole series, what more has this donny gotten up to

Final pages. Final days of her life. Sad.

Mama I’m scared. Random ladies are having random things happen to them. This is Fish in Exile
all over again

guns aren’t lawful
nooses give
gas smells awful
you might as well live

i’ve always sworn up and down i wasn’t going to fall for the amore come to italy propaganda but lowkey Positano you’re charming me through the page

Introduction done and I’m lowkenuinely bored. Feels like a substantive info dump of Black Party suppression so far. Which we all know? no? Didn’t offer a very interesting angle to discussing the Party. But hey maybe that’s intentional. They seem to be gearing towards being overall Black Panther Party factcheckers over anything else

slow progress on the train because i got distracted by the muslim girls scalding hot debrief with her friend, i had to hear that story and ditch this one (sorry not sorry cookie)

ofcourse she was in berlin
