The fantasy world is coming together, but this book needs a proof read (for this edition, other editions might have fixed the issues already).

An enjoyable romp through the fringes of language using the structure of a day as its framework. This book provides lots of arcane words, providing etymology where interesting, and interesting usage too. In some ways this feels more workman like than its predecessor, less driven by a love of subject. Still a very enjoyable read so far.

So far this book is compelling. Mixing real life characters (Siegfried Sassoon and Robert Graves) with other characters of a more fictional nature. As seems normal with such books, the descriptions of battle are dreadful.
