I'm very excited about this work! I'm 7 chapters in but by chapter 3 I new Gods & Kings would be captivating. By chapters 3 the book showed itself to be using the correct names and biblically solid. For biblical fiction, that is how you get and keep readers attention, use the correct names for the time and write the story to be biblically verifiable.

What a way to introduce characters! The book just opened and already John Gwynne has introduced and killed off characters! A Time of Dread opens with a BANG, it's dreadful already! The world building is very intriguing; the description of the Banished Lands is so vivid, you can almost see the lush landscape and feel the icyness of the river! I'm all in and can't read fast enough. LoL!!

Sci-fi always seemed like something I wasn't quite ready to try. I started with The Sun Eater series, it's ok, got to Demon in White. But then, I came across Tori Morrow's recommendation of These Burning Stars 🤯 changed my life. Immediately fell in love with the characters and the plot! It's fast paced, the plot twist are mind blowing and they just keep coming!! Esek Nightfoot😳
