Okay, so I didn’t grow up religious at all, like I have only been in a church twice (with the second time being a really traumatic experience for me). So to deal with my religious trauma (don’t worry it is the least serious version of trauma) I am attempting to read this book front to back, not really to gain a Christian awakening but more so to dive into arguably the most referenced work in literature.

i feel like this twist (if you can call it that) was a dare that the author had to write into this book. like it is fucking crazy in a bad way
