This book provides some insight into the Caste System in India. This takes place in 1975, the same year that I graduated from High School. This was the start of the breakdown of the Caste System.
There are a number of protagonists and main characters. The story is told through many eyes and from the point of view of the lower Caste System. Brutality for those venturing outside the Caste System is unforgiving.

This story is based on true facts. I knew Boston receives a Christmas Tree from Canada each year based on an event in which Boston sent help. Until I started reading this book, I never knew the extent of the event. What happened in Halifax, Nova Scotia where an explosion killed more than half the town was horrific.

So far this book has been so much fun!! A sci-fi with a really dry sense of humor. I laugh out loud at times, look around to see if anyone caught me. I will admit I am listening to Audible because I don't think I could read this. There is a lot of reference to technical data. The reader in Audible is awesome! Knows how to deliver the text and makes it come alive!

This is taking a long time to gather!

So far this book has been a Page Turner! I have no idea what is coming next. It is a work of horror which I usually don't read, but I am really engaged in this book!
I heard that this may be his first book that he's written. If so, I hope he writes many more!
