God help me I’m gonna try another another Ellis novel.

I particularly like the characterization of bunny as he starts to unravel, he manages to read as believable and sympathetic yet also pathetic and infuriating. Because tart established where this was going on page one, she makes it feel like that’s really where it SHOULD be going.

In the midst of the Fortress LA chapter, i find it chillingly reminiscent of discussions being had today. Which begs the question - if we’re having the same conversations today as 40 years ago, did the things Davis saw as in progress actually progress?

Hot damn is this shit exciting! A masterpiece of pacing and character!

I'm consistently astounded by the humor in this book. It is shockingly pithy, wry, and progressive. By no means an easy read, but intensely worth it.

Siskin manages to leaven what is basically a hard history book with enough exciting prose and social insight to make it a truly engaging read.

I literally just had to put the book down and take a 5 minute breather a king last dying in the hospital, this is some seriously good writing.

If Anathem is like a training gym for the mind, then this book is a playground. You still get a decent work out, but with a much higher proportion of whimsy.

WHAT!?! How does this book just KEEP GETTING BETTER?

If I have a criticism of this book at all so fat it is simply that I wish the protagonists background motivations were a little better fleshed out.

This is so good! I cannot express how exciting, enjoyable and mentally consuming this book is.

I Wanted to give this book an in depth, serious review, but honestly it's just a bit too silly. Khanna's ideas are infectious, but his enthusiasm so far outstrips his diligence that it becomes impossible to trust him or consider his book even vaguely impartial.

This is an exciting damn book, but it is risked with logical errors.
