I'm enjoying the story, but at the same time, it's a slog. I think if I was better at visualizing geometry, I would get more out of it, but honestly, I'm struggling to picture what the people look like, let alone the world and how they move in it.

Struggling with this book. The author uses unnecessarily obscure and complex words for his main character's inner monologues. Honestly, no one thinks like that, no matter how well read they are. It feels like he sat there with a thesaurus which makes reading it a slog as you need to stop and think, either to remind yourself what the word means or look it up in a dictionary.
