So far, not loving Darcy. I find her insufferable. Her brother sounds like an asshole too.

I am used to Rebecca Ross’ overly flowery / purple prose after reading her River Enchanted series but there is too much of it in this book. The overly descriptive passages, metaphors and similes…it really bogs the story down. Also, the romance in this one is lackluster. So far, kind of disappointed.

Emelle is so annoying at times.
