I don't know if I'm just getting older, but I'm more annoyed at this book than anything so far, the four-word sentences that are trying to make you feel angst.

I don't like it.
not one bit.
the angst, the agony.
I don't like it.

I rubbed my face, annoyed.

I read some books of hers before that may have a lot of the characters in them, when I got this one I just saw the #1 next to the GR book, but it's clearly not a first of a series, everyone in this book is from previous series. it makes more sense if you have read her previous books, as it is i have a hard time figuring out who is who it has been so long since i have read them.

have to try this book again later, i lost it

The writing is awful. Here's a sentence, first sentence in the paragraph:

My father took an interest in her, as well he might. And probably in part because June made him work so ridiculously hard, my father was unbelievably talented in sports.

Word for word. The paragraph before was about her mom and who she hung out with. So I'm assuming he took an interest in her mother but why sports? 9 pages of similar

Did I miss a novella in between book? I'm so lost. Since when is she..you..know?...spoilers

um, did this guy take the expeditionary force idea? its very similiar. it hasnt been long since i binge listened to all of them, and the fact that porter narrated both makes it hard for me to differentiate

I have questions
1) if they know where scarlett is going to be cant they just go there and capture her?
2) if they rescue the neils guy wouldnt everyone who didnt travel- forget cause things would be changed, and then the whole op never happen?

I'm not sure where this book even is, shelving it again in case I find it later

I'm calling it now, the robber is a female, either a female or a preteen. The narrator gives it away with a feminine or squeaky tone. That's gunna be a twist on who the robber is. The female who was a daughter of the jumper from 10 years ago

This book is annoying me soooooo much. The dialog everything is "I say, he says" even if a question is asked,"What do you mean?" I say.

i know you're not supposed to take books literal, but portland to seaside is like an hour and 30 mins, more if there is portland traffic, and this character is getting up, eating breakfast,hopping in her car heading to portland, shopping and all that, then heading home before lunch. not to mention the drive is absolutely stunning, the countryside and mountains, and not a word of it was mentioned.

im struggling. this is the 2nd time Ive started this book, the first time i listened to about 2 hours of it before i moved to another book cause I had no idea what I was listening to. I think its listening to it that isn't doing it for me- the narrator is very monotone i tune out a lot and there is so much explaining and nothing happening yet. so I restarted this book from the beginning last night.

I am soooo lost. What happened to Isabelle? At one point it said James married Pruitt psychotic daughter. Did I miss a book?

5 hours into this and I have no idea what's going on I keep zoning out I'm so not interested..I feel like I'm gunma have to finish this or l miss some vital part of the story though

holy moly- theres actually a female narrator that I like! I'm listening to this at work, through kindle unlimited..usually female voices are hard for my ears to hear very well, whoever is narrating this is fantastic. Must go and research who it is at once!

I can't with this book, there's a lot of screaming and telling, every other page. Ugh.

I'm blowing through these books cause I want to know what happens.. here's my question.. everyone with the stones seem to go to the future, why is aj and their group so special that they go to the past? Did they address how to go back and forth at all?

he's talking about sequence of buttons and points- this is SO similiar to Gary Bishop example in one of his books I cant remember now which one, i think it might have been the unf*uck yourself one.

please do not tell me that we're going to get to know Max just to have him die and give her his lungs so she could live. If I have this book figured out already at 10% im done with books this year.

im having a hard time connecting with the angst that the author is trying to convey.
