Omg!!!! I have so much anxiety. No.no.no.no. literally nothing goes right for Hadrian. How are you gonna pull yourself out of this!?

Oof you guys. This is a short book but it feels like I've been reading this for 10 years and I am so lost. If this was any longer I'd DNF......

Only just started and I already didn't wanna put it down.

I'm still awaiting for this to pick up. I am not excited to pick it up, and feel like I am just trudging along with it. The first book I felt like it started off trying to be like red rising, and now with this one I feel like it is trying to be like Shadow of the gods. I gave a pass on the first book, but now this is getting a little irritating.

I'm just starting chapter 9. I went into this book blind, but I really didn't realize this is a children's story. I knew it would be whimsical, but I think this is more of a book my kids would enjoy and I would enjoy reading to them.

Just like the first book, I am not dying to pick it up at every chance.....at least not yet. It wasn't until the latter half of the book that I got addicted on the first. I hope it's the same with this one 🤞
