Jean Sharp is reading Date with Destiny (The Dales Detective #10)
Smashing book.
Great ending to the series.
Best best man ever chosen.
At one point we're teetering on the edge of a sheer drop of excitement! 😉

Very hard going. I'd sooner read Heart of Darkness

Lots of twists and turns. Might have to look for the other titles in the series

A lovely book.
Magical realism at it's best.

Jean Sharp is 68% done with Magician (The Riftwar Saga, #1-2)
A huge book, not a quick read
Not a book you can sit down and "binge" read, (is there such a phrase?).
It's a very detailed book, with lots of information for the reader to take in, but this doesn't matter, as the details are there to weave the fabric of the world that Pug, Raymond E Feist's Magician, inhabits.
The book could possibly have been split into two, as there is a definite switch to a second book.

I'm currently reading this, and so far, for me at least, it's doing for memory what Patrick Suskind's Perfume did for the sense of smell.
It's also proving to be a little upsetting at times, as the main theme is memory and the loss of it, the main characters are exploring ways to trigger memories. (A close relative is going through Alzheimer's and vascular dementia so it is hitting home.)

Jean Sharp is finished with The Red Knight (The Traitor Son Cycle, #1)
A very detailed book about a battle against "The Wild", who have decided that they don't want to stay beyond The Wall.
An epic siege takes place that rages on for over two weeks.
It maybe could be shorter, as the battles are very detailed.
However, on the whole, an enjoyable read.
I thought this was a stand alone novel, but the ending makes it clear that there's further battles to be had.
