Some very strange takes so far: fat people are fat because they’re not incentivized enough to not be (although he only spent like 3 sentences on that thought), plastic is better for the environment BECAUSE it doesn’t degrade (we can tell this is before people were talking about microplastics), and have a can of sardines instead of junk food to improve your carbon footprint…

The protagonist asks “but why?” regarding the magic system, at a frequency not unlike my 4-year-old. Take that any way you like, it yanks me out of the story.
