enjoying the story so far but not the biggest fan of the writing style

SO excited to start my Star Wars book journey!!!!

I like the concept but the writing is a bit meh

honestly I don’t care about the politics at all, give me more of the school setting!!

the academy setting has been more interesting, but I am still finding it difficult to feel fully immersed in the world & I don't feel any sense of connection to Vis

Part I is complete!

So far, this is good but it's not great. The main thing I am struggling with is the characters; I don't really feel connected to them. Also, the way the magic system is explained at some parts is lowkey confusing lol

ok totally did not expect this to be up alley, also it’s not too too hard to understand either

so glad they are back at the palace, the whole magic thing was so confusing & random to me???

unfortunately, I am not liking the direction that this story is taking

ok excited to see where this is going!!

the way I am just finding out this is the start of a series... I thought it was standalone omg hopefully there isn't a cliffhanger at the end :')

… that was what happened in Croatia???? the amount of buildup for a five page chapter is crazy

side note: I don’t think they know what communication is lol

I was enjoying this at first but it’s getting so boring now…also why is the sad puppy face mentioned so frequently 😭
