I hate DNFing this far into a book but the dialogue is so cringy, it feels like every other sentence having the word “baby” or “wife”… also didn’t like the fact that the mmc was called the “dark commander” but already fell for the fmc in the first quarter?? that doesn’t make sense… on top of that, the plot of this book is pretty much romance, the political portion is barely mentioned
