This book is perfect. Marianne reminds me much of myself (she seems to be much more book smart) and it’s a strange feeling reading her thoughts and feeling absolutely seen.

“It seemed practically evil to have so much sex with someone who would later allow you to burn to death”

I don’t know what feeling this invoked in me but I think it was rage. Why would our minds allow us to fall for someone who in fact wouldn’t save you from a burning building.

Very interesting makes me uncomfortable. Maybe because I have related to the main character. It seems the author may have had the same experience as me.

I’m pretty indifferent to it and quite frankly don’t feel like finishing it
