Rick
Rick is on page 45 of 384 of De vaticaandagboeken

Already a great start!
I noticed this book lying on her table in the great Netflix series about Simone Biles, who I consider to be one of the greatest athletes of modern times.

Rick is 5% done with The Holocaust: An Unfinished History (Pelican Books)
The author explains how and why the Holicaust is not something that started with the rise of Hitler, nor that it ended with the liberation of the dead camps in May 1945 (p. xxiv), and even that it was not limited to Nazi-occupied territories: Verified documentation shows that "almost 700 places, from the far north of Norway to N-Africa, from Britain to Ukraine," were outside Nazi-German control. (p. xiv)

I especially like this about halfway on page 50:
"Know why he could do it? Because no one ever told him he couldn't."
(About 95 year old Micah who "came hiking twenty-five miles over the mountain. ... You live up to your own expectations, man.")

Rick is on page 83 of 200 of Love The World or Get Killed Trying
"To be surrounded by striking nature is to be pure in whatever emotion you experience, which is a better way of defining joy." (p. 82)
Here, Alvina still is in Iceland, after a tumultuous night of clubbing, pondering about an excursion on the next morning to the nature of the island's Beautiful South Coast, "although the ugly south coast also sounds rather interesting."
