Sometimes you just need a good ol Christian Suspense to get you through a slump.

What I appreciate thus far about this book is Wolfe’s logical approach especially to contrasting that which is natural to man (community, culture, etc…) and may have existed regardless of the Fall of Man versus that which is unnatural to man. This is the basis for his argument that a pre-Fall civilization could have been “Christian Nationalist.” Though I may disagree with some of his further conclusions.

I’ve long felt that “Christian nationalist” was not the slur our society has made it to be. Turns out, my instincts were correct since it was used as a largely positive term well back into the 19th century. So much of what I’ve already read in this book resonates as true within my spirit.

I think I should be able to finish it tonight! 😁

I feel very at home in this book ☺️ the vibes, the banter, the mystery and underlying spook. Loving it 😁

Brandon, you could have easily trimmed 100,000 words from this book and it would’ve still been perfect 😂

Struggling with this one because the plot is virtually the same as book one, but flipped due to the “amnesia” trope. Which I despise 😅

Not the “I’m edgy because I cuss now” trope and the “amnesia” trope both coming out to play in the first fifty pages of this one 😫

After 232 pages of clean reading, the author shoehorns a random s-word into the dialogue? Ugh…

Oathbringer does not get the credit it’s due because this book has been amazing and devastating so far. 😭
