I’m not very far in but I’m listening to the audio book at work and am on the brink of personal crisis just from the introduction. Theres apparently only one path for me and it begins in my 20s and the path is towards a husband, children and a job. But specifically a husband and that my 20s are my prime child bearing years. Waiting for her to address the defining decade for the lgbtq+ but it’s not looking good

She’s now had the baby 3 wks and her roommate has a biochem final but the baby won’t stop crying and sleep so the roommate is angrily telling her to leave… meanwhile fmc is angry none of her roommates are offering to help take care of said baby….I’m with the roommates

Ok I loved the book Ghosts by dolly alderton but I’m finding the mmc to be insufferable. Maybe it’s bc I’ve never experienced a break that’s made me want to cry sob in a pub at 10am. Because no one is allowed to see me cry like that in public. But I’m 46 pages in and I’m already not even liking this guy. The girlfriend isn’t much better either and I know I’m only getting one side of this breakup

This book reads like a movie with bad acting but obviously I’m still going to finish it

I haven’t started the book and I’ve read the reviews. It’s not looking too promising but I’m F1 obsessed which may make me hate the book even more. Not to mention I’ve seen multiple comments about it being poorly written, which I hate. However reading this book will probably be the closest I’ll ever get to an F1 driver, so be it.
