The first three times I attempted this book I would fall asleep within the first 15 to 20 pages . I'm trying to consume it in audio form. It is tedious but I'm plowing through and already don't want to hear her name again.

Re-reading because I wanted to experience the book in audio form. And bc I had read this years before it became so rampant on social media platforms. Needed a refresh.

It is absolutely WILD to me that anyone could think this is an accurate representation of depression in any respect. It is blatantly SATIRE. And this is coming from someone who originally read this locked in bed by depression for comic relief.

Could not finish. Much too triggering for someone with substance abuse issues. Some of the writing could be quite beautiful but for the most part was very dreary.
