I do appreciate how early we're going for "what if the good guys are also sort of bad guys" hints

This is the best horror story I’ve read in years

Wait I’m sorry this man is the #1 pick as a quarterback and his name is AUGUST LUCK? I see you, Kristen Callihan

the whole prologue chapter of this book would ALMOST be enough to put me off except it doesn't actually matter to the story but also WHAT ARE WE DOING

no one is forcing me to read this, but apparently I'm a bully

"I don't need to re-read before Onyx Storm" she says "I'll just watch recap videos on youtube" she says.

oh I LOVE this

4 chapters in & I'm in love

Having the same experience here as I do with a lot of Beatriz Williams books, where I'm plotting family trees on post-it notes to track previous books, but I'm loving it.

*john wick voice* yeah I'm thinking I'm back

DELO POV?????
DELO POV!!!!!

There is a choice of words used on page 7 that is not bad enough to make me put it down BUT might be bad enough for me to dock a star off the final review.

I'm hoping my reading experience is going to mirror the first book where I had to force myself through the first three quarters, but then could not stop with the last setion

this book feels SO LONG

oh boy I am DISPLEASED with this turn of events

oh boy I am DISPLEASED with this turn of events

GASP! I am truly shocked that this was available on ebook through my library, I guess the Australian publishers didn't push the release date???

This is achingly, sickeningly sweet & very high school, but in the best way

because I have eyes, I can see that this book is very long, but it sunk in that I'm on page 300 and there is still SO much to go

U KNOW WHAT I HAD TO GO INTO WORK ON A SATURDAY I DESERVE THIS

I'm really enjoying this so far, and I'm so glad I'm not reading it on kindle; it's really helping me savour the story.

I'm... not sure how I feel about this?

Oops this is very nearly due at the library, better start it!
