I paused reading this for awhile. Jan 3rd was the last I picked it up. I like the world but what is the point?

Listening to the audio book. I have no idea where this is going but I am interested. Wondering what death really means in this world.

Just finished the Adventures of the Norwood Builder.

That's book 1 down. I like this but the pacing is all over the place. Also,I just want the romance to happen already. Every time it feels like something is happening we get these random quests/mysteries Xie Lian goes to investigate, And every time those get interesting, random side stuff comes up. It's aggravating.

Lol, lost this books for a week. Literally.

Just finished the autumn section. Just one more season to go before the book ends. It's been nice reading this as I go through the year.
