Chapter 38 lives rent free in my head.

I’m halfway through this thing and I’ve heard more about everyone’s sex life and Lowen’s unwarranted attraction to Jeremy than I have about anything concerning her writing process. Or any of the previous books Lowen has supposedly written. Or anything really significant about her or any of the characters.

The weird pacing and const info dumps are kinda getting on my nerves.

Lauren doesn’t seem to have any internal conflict that has any effect on the plot 🤔

I just got to the part where they’re having a family dinner and holy shit, Junior’s dad has zero tact.

This book really straddles the line between “totally hilarious” and “chronically online try hard”
