Very interesting research material for my uni course so far.

How... many povs is this book going to have??? I think the last one was 98% useless and waste of time, so I really hope the new one is good but... why do we need all thes povs? maybe time will tell.

I like the language a lot and appreciate the newer ladies. still not happy with men-women ratio (and probs won't be with this book?). Creative descriptions in this book are 6/5.

More women have appeared with more professions. Not sure I am into all the character descriptions (skintones named like liquer and food, descriptions of curves, the very vague descriptions of the ex? of mc), but overall enjoyable text.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to have guessed that one early plot twist but I guessed it already in the end of last book? Otherwise great stuff again, and really loving that we get to see more of Rhy's side of things now and so much Lila goodness.

Liking it a lot so far otherwise, but kinda meh & disappointed about how the generic book cliche of "barbaric" or violent people living in the cold weather seems to have slipped into this book too - White London is very Nordic coded, from the enviroment to language. Otherwise I like it a lot so far, esp big points for how nicely our multisexual male character's sexuality is handled!

I started a chronological reread of one of my favourite series of all time and oh dear oh dear, I had forgotten how the young Christopher's naivety and blind trust was used against him. Makes me love him even more, tho.
