For me the weakest spot of this trilogy so far has been that I was left feeling completely indifferent towards all the villains. I don't hate or love them passionately enough to really care about what happens to them, and it does weaken the experience when the whole trilogy basically has same villains through it all. I think the book might be fixing that a little bit now, but I am not sure yet.
