Sometimes I tell myself, "Put down the book and get some things done."

Then I tell myself, "Be quiet."

Leah is starting Cemetery Dance Magazine, Issue 76
Opened up the envelope and damn near peed myself - one of scariest covers of CD, ever. *shivers*

It took a minute to get into a rhythm but now, following Bernice's health scare, I'm having trouble putting it down.

Good pace, brilliant details, but I'm just not loving Marya and how submissive she is so far.

Leah is reading Deathless
To prep for Deathless, I'm reading both "The Death of Koschei the Deathless" and "Marya Morevna" online at Gutenberg and SurLaLune, respectively.

Leah is on page 48 of 432 of Moody Bitches: The Truth About the Drugs You're Taking, The Sleep You're Missing, The Sex You're Not Having, and What's Really Making You Crazy
Compelling statistics, and if reader is the type of "moody bitch" Dr. Holland describes probably resonates more. I pretty much disconnected after reading, "Whether it's food, alcohol, drugs, cell phones, or shopping, we all rely on something in order to numb ourselves during difficult times (2)." Really?! Hmm... I stuck with it till around page 48 then decided to move on to something else for now.

Leah is finished with A Wicked Thing (A Wicked Thing, #1)
Took me about an hour to read first 138 pages; took me about three hours to read the rest. The story met my expectations.

Leah
Leah is on page 139 of 337 of A Wicked Thing (A Wicked Thing, #1)
Started this one around midnight on 3/24 and read 138 pages without even realizing it. I love it when an author knows how to tell a story, knows how to make a character alive with only a few sentences. The story begins with the kiss that wakes Aurora. High hopes for this one!

Leah is starting Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, #1)
I wanted something to break up my recent fairy-tale binge before I started a couple non-fiction books in my TBR pile from library and publisher. Plus, I really wanna see how Mr. Bennett (with all his hilarious sarcasm) fares with zombies.

"Orange" is clever, yes, and hilarious (well from a certain perspective); an excellent example of storytelling at the master level.
