Reading my third Beauty & The Beast reimagining in two weeks and am seeing a disturbing and not enjoyable trend. It seems that everyones idea of beast is a man who enjoys emotionally abusing and demeaning beauty. WHY? Why can he not just be a cranky man? Why does everyone insist on making him a stomach turning abusive monster and the beauty an innocent who craves his abuse?
Thats my 1 hard limit, in life and books

Guess what book dorks, I'm back writing up a storm! I've settled into my new home & have staked out the perfect writing spot - on the balcony overlooking my garden, under the shade of palm trees. Everyday I come in from work & head directly to my special spot to create words until it's too dark to write. HEY THERE BOOK DORKS!

Just wanted to quickly drop buy and share with you the fantastic ARC I'm reading... It's called ULARA by Leesa Bow and it's releasing this week. I'm almost done reading and I really love this one. Leesa is an Aussie author who really draws you into her world and before you know it you're in the jungle and never want to come out. It's the perfect read for the upcoming weekend.

Guess what friends? I'm back behind the keyboard. After all the tears I shed writing, editing and basically bringing KEEPING CONTROL to life my muses needed a break.

But they're back and chatty as hell. I'm working hard on an anthology submission to come out later this year as well as plotting the next Mountain Magic, and the next Bigelow Bay... as well as a few more treats that I hope you'll enjoy

It’s with great sadness I’ve had to cancel my New Zealand signing in March at AGES OF PAGES... This brand new event was something that I’d been looking forward to – I couldn’t wait to chat with all you lovely NZ readers. But alas govt 'Travel Bubbles' have not eventuated and us Aussies are still trapped within out own borders. HOWEVER HAVE NO FEAR – if it becomes an annual event I’ll be front row centre 2022.
