It’s OK, but the story just isn’t holding my interest enough to keep going at the moment.

I kind of don’t want to finish this. It is BLEAK.

Shelving this for now. I can’t handle 2 books with childhood trauma at the same time 😅

I have to say…nothing has even happened with this love triangle, and I’m already tired of it. Why do I have a feeling the boy next door has a heartbreak and betrayal in his future?? 😣

Aagh. Enter the childhood friend experiencing unrequited love with the clueless MC. Ugh. Dane had better not get his heart broken.

OK—so this IS kinda YA. I wasn’t sure. But everyone is acting like teenagers.

Looks like an enemies-to-lovers thing is going to happen at some point. I mean, when you meet the “tall and hot” dude who wants to k*ll you in chapter 1, it’s destiny, right??

Let’s see what all the fuss is about…

The audiobook narrator, Ari Fliakos, is positively phenomenal 👏👏👏

I’m skipping whole sections now—due to inane, pointless descriptions/musings, redundancies, or utterly ridiculous, unrealistic behavior. I really want to like this but I just can’t respect any of the MCs 😣

These characters are…not real people. 😑 Their actions and dialogue are like puppets pretending to be human. And half their brains must be stuffing. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Staying the course to see if my suspicions are correct about the ending…

I can’t do it anymore. I have given this book 8.5 hours of my listening time, and I am SO BORED. I don’t like any of the characters and the whole “college” attitudes are borderline high school levels. There are too many good books out there to waste any more time on this.

Delightfully whimsical! As though Wes Anderson wrote Forrest Gump. (But even better than you’d imagine.) 😄

I want to come back to this in the future. It’s just too heavy for following the last book I read. 😅

So far, I’d put this at 2.5 stars at best. The story’s got all the cute and fun of the previous books, but it reads like it’s missing the last couple rounds of editing.

I would listen to Neil Gaiman read just about anything. His voice is so kind and gentle.

These are not the greatest literature ever, but somehow I can’t stop reading them. 😅 Nice fluffy, comfy reads.
