Reading this book after finishing "Never Let Me Go." The themes of human dignity that string between both books are haunting me, because one is a Sci-Fi nightmare, and the other is a historically accurate nightmare. But they are basically about the same thing: how many ways can we dehumanize people and somehow feel okay with ourselves at the end of the day?
