The fire has finally cranked up but I have no idea how Sam is feeling. This is so stressful.

Enjoying the narration so far. The stilted way Sam is voiced + the way she describes things makes me think she’s on the spectrum. Curious to see if that’s true.

Sean's Daddy Charlie has me emotional af. He is doing such an amazing job giving voice to one of my favorite characters.

This definitely isn't the first book I should be reading in Black History Month but it's due back to the library and I need to finish it asap. So far, it's pretty funny. It has that same quirky, neurotic humor of the other books, and I LOVE Sean's narrating. I was already side-eying TJ for giving Corey/Kori (the SOLE poc in the series) such a shit life in TAOB, so I was prepared to be annoyed about that. I was right.

I don’t usually read historical fiction but the blurb sounded interesting. Bahni Turpin narrating is really drawing me in. I’m rooting for Patience.

There are a lot of kinky things afoot.
