Really enjoying the story at this point - curious where this is going. Hoping to find out more about the other place

A compelling story, with quite an unusual king character

I enjoyed the characters and the story, but it was dragging significantly for me.. I'll get back to it when I'm in the right headspace

This story is very reflective and brooding, I didn't expect it..

So far, this is a delight - pulled me in from the start; love the 1st and 3rd person switches

I'm definitely enjoying myself and I can see the seeds of this story in a few other dystopian stories I came across

Absolutely delighted with this one - lighter in tone than 'North woods', but still awesome. The humour and charm remind me of 'Unlikely animals' by Annie Hartnett

Oh my but Claudia Piñeiro really went for it this time.. I don't think I hated any characters more than I do a few in this novel. I'm so mad 😅

I've been on a hunt for a good literary mystery novel and this is exactly what I wanted. And that it is translated makes me even happier. I'm loving the exploration of faith and memory in this story. Read 'Elena knows' before, but liking this one more

Yes, this is exactly the kind of non-fiction I enjoy 😍 and the audiobook is read by the author.. yes please

Ufff but I dislike John so much.. I know there's nuance and there are reasons but he's a horrible human being and I hope he gets punished.. Or I'll write myself a final chapter to humiliate and bring that man down
