I fucking hate this guy. I know you’re supposed to. But DAMN he’s the worst human male you’ve ever met. The slimy bastard that tricks everyone but you. The narrator is the male who’s the very reason society doesn’t believe women, and I’m so angry at him at only 20% in that I’m not sure I’ll finish this one. I love LJ’s books but FU K THIS GUY.

This book is fucked lol - but in the way you can’t stop reading. But damn this came out of someone’s mind!!?

This reads like it was originally intended as a Netflix screenplay that was altered to a proper book. Sarcastic and breaks the 4th wall in away that’s very fun. A great summer read, especially if you need a break from smutty romance.

Literally just started but it’s been a significant break in audio books for me. I oddly missed Julia Whelan’s voice 😅

So Palestine has historically been mostly Muslim. “The population of late 19yh century Palestine was 85% Muslim and about 10% Christian” the other 5% included Jews. Then late 19th century TRADE and $ impacts, bringing wealth to the region but also European Christian tourists and pilgrims. They built churches and the tourism industry. Then 1908 the gov’t changed and forced Turkish over Arabic causing friction.

This one isn’t holding me captive like the first book. 😔

Ok I didn’t call Josh’s involvement. However, the second the car got off the highway in the Poconos I knew for sure that Maddie‘s family would be involved. When we first met Marge, I was pretty sure she was going to be the grandmother who cried out at the funeral according to the boyfriend. But then who is the killer? My money is the boyfriend. Lame. Boooo.

I’m reading these because they’re quick, and innocent, and pre-smartphone. Sometimes you just need a wholesome read to break up the true crime and horror.

I can’t help but imagine Joel and his daughter from The Last Of Us in Kirby and Wonda’s places.

Fuck the ending. I mean, from a plot standpoint, it’s a decent ending. I just would rather it have ended differently.

Strange - until the tunnel drive, I was convinced Diana was dead. While I know the ‘mummy disappeared’ was a coping method that Harry’s mind built…gosh the idea of faking your death to desperately escape feels not so far-fetched.

Also, FFS, the royal family needs hug therapy.

Please don’t let ai take over audiobooks! Also, love the insider feel of this book.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE REST? Damnit woman get a grip!

I saw this book in B&N over the holidays and it’s taken until now for me to get it from the library. Though, it’s a really bad book to read just days before getting on an international flight! 😱🤦‍♀️😄

I had to wait to get the book again after my loan lapsed and damn did I leave off right before the whole plot picks up!

Hold on until about 70% and the payoff will be worth it

My last note was both the wrong percentage and made JUST before the plot picked up. So disregard the pacing note. Just have to get through the first 20% or so before the characters start to exist as more than mopes.

Pace is slow. But I really feel for the narrator.

This story development is painfully slow. DNF.
