Dracula picks off the crew of a ship one at a time, and not until it's just the captain and the mate remaining does it occur to one of them that maybe, just maybe, there's a stowaway hiding in those large crates in the cargo hold.

So bizarre to think that there are universes in which Sarah Palin is a real politician, but this evidence is irrefutable.

I think perhaps I've gotten a bit too accustomed to psychopathic protags. Can't stop thinking about how Rei's untimely demise would put Shinji in a position to demand whatever he wanted from NERV.

Halfway through the introduction by another author, I'm getting annoyed by grammatical errors and some unclear phrasing, wondering who the heck wrote this and why it's so poorly edited. Then I speed read to the end and see that it's Peter F. Hamilton. LMAO, even in a short intro to someone else's book, without his name to prejudice me, he still manages to irritate me.

Why, in this world where true names are known to be a serious liability, does almost everyone, criminals and spymasters included, routinely and causally give their true names to anyone who asks? Even Rumplestiltskin was smarter than that.
