I doubt I'm going to finish 17 books in the next hour, so I guess I didn't make my challenge goal this year. That's fine. I figure if I make it every year, I'm probably not setting it high enough. And I missed it at least partly because I got back into gaming this year, which I wasn't expecting when I set the goal.

The Staryk's antimemetic power is bugging me, because how is there so much common knowledge about the Staryk if every human who comes into contact with them forgets all about it within a day or two? Maybe this will be explained later, but I'm not hopeful. So far, I don't see a way to No Prize it.
